CHICAGO FIRE SIGNS FORMER SOCKERS FC FORWARD WILL JOHNSON

Soccer has always been Johnson's sport - his "passion." Most recently he played for the FC Sockers Chicago. Johnson credits Sockers coaches Brett Hall and David Richardson for always finding him a game or training, as needed. "They were always there for me."
	"When Will came to play for the Sockers four years ago, one of his goals was to try to make it to the professional level," said David Richardson, Sockers FC Chicago Director of Coaching. "The good thing about Will is that he was dedicated to that goal. He would show up on extra days and played in our 'Top Talent' program year-round. He was focused on becoming a professional and did whatever was asked of him to reach that goal. He was not only a good player, but a good teammate, and that is something that he will carry over to the next level." .
Congratulations Will. You are a great example of dedication and focus to which all present and future Sockers FC players can use as an inspiration to achieve their dreams of the future
